If you have a negative Linden balance in your viewer, you probably joined a group that has shared liabilities. Check all your groups to see if any charge members a fee.

Hi beautyqueen101omg,

It appears you have yet to log into Second Life (SL) for the very first time, as you don't have a profile. Unless you purchase Linden Dollars, or pay for a premium membership, you will not own any money when you start here. But you don't need money to enjoy the wonderful world of Second Life. There are endless freebies available in shops you can visit in-world, or in the SL Marketplace. You can select from the basic starter avatars and then go wild changing skins, shapes, clothing, accessories, and eventually... friends!

So, download a viewer, read the quickstart guide and user's manual (or at least be ready to refer to them), then log-in and start exploring!
