While you CAN donate money to a friend, as Rolig suggests, I do not recommend that you do so.  It's hard to believe that someone who can afford broadband Internet and a fast computer can't come up with ten bucks a month to pay their own way.  The chances are very good that your friend is looking at you and seeing:
