attached a graphics crasher to my avatar on accident cant log in

ok let me retype this so i can get a correct answer.... im not a noob to secondlife re-installing firestorm will not resolve my issue the object is attatched to my avatar... its a graphics crasher so unless there is a way to detach this object then i will never be able to log in any solutions?

Pity about the poor help the first time around. The Answers system is vulnerable to poor advice as anyone can answer these questions, even if they have no clue.

Try a Text-based viewer such as Radegast? This has no graphics rendering, and will not crash from a graphics crasher.

It should let you detach the object.

Try setting your monitor to a low value of luminance, so it looks quite dark.  That may let you stay logged in long enough to select Detach All.

at the login screen of the viewer, go to menu and then preferences. set the graphics at low and try it again. maby that works ?
